Damaged Items:

Items that arrive damaged due to mishandling by the shipping carrier, or due to warehouse neglect to thoroughly inspect item will be replaced by Homedeco Direct at no further cost to our customer. Damaged items may not be replaced with different items without the consent of Homedeco Direct. There may be additional charges if you request a replacement with a different item. If your item arrives damaged you are required to contact Homedeco Direct within 48 hours of receipt. Please fill out our form by going to this page on our website:

You will be asked to email us a photo of the damaged item (this is standard practice in the furniture industry to avoid fraudulent claims).

Please also note that certain hand made wood, ceramic and porcelain items may appear to have defects when in actuality these defects are part of the hand made character of the item and enhance the individuality of each product. If you do not want hand made unique products please contact a sales associate and they can instruct you on which products have machine-like finishes.

Refusal of Replacement for Damaged Items:

If an item arrives damaged and customer refuses to accept replacement at no charge to customer, then Homedeco Direct reserves the right to charge an order handling fee up to 25% on the original items purchased. Shipping charges will not be reimbursed for order cancellations refusing replacements.

What is your return policy?

HomedecoDirect.com accepts returns on all merchandise within 15 days from the shipping date. Some restrictions may apply in the case of "as-is" models or for special closeout items. Original shipping charges are not refunded on returned items unless there was an error on our part. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges back to HomedecoDirect.com on returned items unless there was an incorrect item(s) shipped by HomedecoDirect.com.

Returns within 15 days from shipping date can be for exchange, refund or credit at HomedecoDirect.com's discretion. There will be an average of 15% to 25%  restocking fee for all returned items. All products returned MUST: be 100 percent complete, contain ALL original boxes and packing materials, have original UPC codes on the products, contain all manuals, blank warranty cards and other accessories and documentation provided by the manufacturer. A restocking fee may apply to returned items, unless there was an error on our part.

Customer is responsible for shipping charges on returned items. All shipping cost for returned merchandise will be paid for by the customer. No C.O.D. on shipments will be accepted. Only shipping cost for incorrect items delivered to the customer will be paid for by Homedeco Direct. The return must be shipped by standard ground shipment or regular First Class Mail in order for shipping cost credit. We will not refund the extra shipping cost of express delivery. We will only refund shipping cost if the item is returned by First Class Mail, US Priority Mail or UPS Ground Shipping. If items are returned by express delivery, refund will only cover up to $10.00.

HomedecoDirect.com strongly recommends you fully insure your return shipment in case it is lost or damaged and you use a carrier that can provide you with proof of delivery for your protection. If merchandise arrives damaged: save the merchandise AND the original box and packing it arrived in, notify HomedecoDirect.com immediately to arrange for a carrier inspection and a pick up of damaged merchandise. For defective items that were not damaged due to carrier mishandling we wil require a photograph showing the defective portion of the item. The photograph can be emailed to us or mailed to our mailing address.

Upon order placement, if you entered a correct email address, you will immediately receive an order confirmation with an order #. If you do not receive this receipt by email please contact our customer service immediately as you may have entered an incorrect email address or your spam filter may be blocking our important emails to you.

It is the customer's responsibility to track their order, using the tracking information provided to you through our customer order status section of our website. Click on "My Account/Order Status", then under "My Orders" click on "Review orders / track packages".

If you never received a product but our system shows it was delivered to your address, you need to contact us immediately. If we do not hear from you within a maximum of 30 days of shipping date, we will not be able to assist you with lost or stolen items.
